...and this is just me being curious!

Who would you like to see take over the Birds?

Depends on what the Birds became, doesn't it?

    New writer=new direction.

With the rumors flying, might be an all or mostly new team too.

    If I Left Bop...
Never. EVER. Start a thread that way again! Blah, you scared the beejezus out of me!

Moving right along, I'd be interested to see what Brian K. Vaughan would do with it. Maybe Geoff Johns for novelty's sake.

JMS would take it in interesting directions.

:looks at other writers off books on pull list:

Um....Brubaker and Slott are both Marvel exclusive.

Anderson Gabrych, maybe, since he handled the Birds fairly well in "Batgirl."

But, honestly, I'd cry in my tea if you left. I can't anyone doing a better job and I'd just flat out drop the book if it veered too far away from what you were doing or just flat-out didn't measure up to your work.

Phoenix Rising, a superhero adventure, coming in November.

What's hilarious is that you guys have no idea how many pro friends have told me they want Bop after I leave. I get the feeling some of them would be happy to have me fall off a cliff if it meant they'd get the book.

    ;)

Oh, and Dan Slott and I came THIS CLOSE to working together on a project recently. Dangit. I love Dan's work.

    Out-of-the-box choices:

Xaime Hernandez, Jim Mahfood, or Paul Pope.

    More traditional:

Adam Warren or Brian K. Vaughn.
