I don't know about the Teen Titans trade, but the Superman one only had excerpts.

RIFTT’S GUIDE TO READING INFINITE CRISIS VIA TPB's

This is both a guide to the most essential TPB’s for Infinite Crisis as well as a reading order for those following the Crisis through the trades. This is based on the faq rundown Paul posted on the first page of this thread.

The Modern Crisis section denotes the comic book issue on the left side in italics, and the trade that issue is collected in on the right side in bold. The number next to the trade indicates the placement of the issue in the trade, ie: Omac Project TPB #1 equals the comic books “Countdown to Infinite Crisis” since it is the first issue reprinted in the tpb.

...ok goin through and italicizing and bolding takes too long, ill post and do it later....

Default Didn't see this one on the FAQ

Q: What was the significance of the "schism" effect endings in 13 of the April 2006 issues? (Batman #650, Birds of Prey #91, Catwoman #52, Green Arrow #59, Hawkman #49, JLA #125, Manhunter #19, Outsiders #33, Robin #147, Wonder Woman #226)

    Default Infinite Crisis Question

I know i am behind but i was wondering, what do i need to understand infinite crisis besides the main storyline which just came out in trade so i can get that easy. Also i kinda have money constrictions. I can afford a good amount but not like evry single tie-in, thats to much. Well thanks.

So I finally read Infinite Crisis and it was worth every penny of buying up all the other trades (not that they werent worth it in and of themselves for the most part).

A question for Paul - in the Superman: Infinite Crisis tpb, there is the secret files issue, the superman issues, then an exerpt from IC #5. The tpb reprints the Perez cover of IC #5 before going into the exerpt but first after the cover page is a two page spread of superman and earth-2 superman fighting that shows a whole bunch of different reality supermen (as well as his energy form version) duking it out. When I first got this trade I assumed from the placement that it was a part of IC #5, but it turns out the spread is not a part of the infinite crisis hardcover (or im assuming IC #5) if that is the case, then where did these two pages originally appear?

They're the final spread from Adventures of Superman #649. What they've done, to ensure the picture appears on pages facing each other, is insert the cover to issue #5 as a page of the fight.

Default JSA Classified: Honor Among Thieves

Would JSA Classified #5-9, which includes the Injustice Society hunting down the Key of Prometheus be considered at all IC-related? I only ask because in Gotham Knights #66, the Society is seen looking for the key, and I wasn't sure if the JSA Classified story was related to that or not.

Actually I'm still trying to work that out. I haven't read the issues, though I do know that the Society only appeared in one issue. Anyone got anything more?

It's been months since I read that JSAC story (5-7), but, as I recall, I ultimately concluded it takes place after IC-proper (sometime during the OYL gap, concurrent with 52). The main deciding factor was the presence of Jakeem Thunder, who was missing for weeks prior to IC and was not found until after the destruction of the Rock of Eternity.

Other than that, there is nothing in the story tying it directly to the events of IC.

As for the Flash/Wildcat story in JSAC 8-9, I think the best place for it is also during the OYL gap. It includes an offhand reference to an ongoing "crisis," which was obviously intended to refer to IC, but otherwise it has no relation to IC, and its placement on New Year's Eve (when no other IC-related stories reference New Year's at all), makes it pretty illogical to place it during the events of IC.

Passing through the red sun depowered all three "Supers", but Superboy Prime still had some vestiges of his powers thanks to the harness he had worn, but was destroyed.

Green K, but it wasn't on Mogo, it was pulled along in the wake of the three "Supes" and landed with them.

It was a nod to the fact that the Earth-2 Superman was the first superhero ever.
