    Default MERGE: Marvel's Big Three

DC's big three consist of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Who makes up Marvel's big three in your opinion?

More people know Hulk than Wolverine.

It depends, are you talking about Big 3 as in who is best known to the masses, or Big 3 in terms of who are the three most important characters within the MU itself? Because with DC, it's the same thing. With Marvel, I'm not so sure.

it should be thor, hulk, and namor in terms of power imo
Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order

If we're talking power, wouldn't the top 3 be something like Eternity, the Living Tribunal, and one of the Celestials?

    Popular Characters:

Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk (coincidentally, those are the 3 Joe Mad depicted in his latest drawing.)

    Importance to the Marvel Universe:

Captain America, Reed Richards, Professor X. (Tony Stark is close, but I think the others edge him out in importance.)

In terms of importance with the 616 universe MU's big three are:

1.Captain America:Marvel's leader. Represents the same role that Superman has in the DCU

2.Spider-Man: Marvel's everyman: Represents the same role that Batman plays in the DCU

3.Wolverine: Broke boundrys on how superheros acts. Plays the same role the Wonder Woman plays in the DCU because she broke the boundires on what a female supehero can do.

I agree with Magneto X,Marvel suites obviously regard Hulk,Wolverine, and Spider-man as thier most marketable characters....or should I say property?

For the comic fan Captain America is Marvel's most iconic character,he would fit right in with DC's pantheon of perfection, while Spidey is the character with quirks and hang ups all identify with as uniquely Marvel.
