You just got married or got that new job. you lost your rent in a crap game or your girl just left you.

How do you feel?what are your plans for the future? well put em down in a post. what ever you going throught now plus you plans for later. talk about how you going to move out the getto or how you going to get that new car.

Slowly the thread starts to get pushed to the back pages.then a year from now one of the cleverest of us will remember to pull it up. then you and all your friends can sit back and see where you were and where you at. how funny will it be to find out that you and that bit** got back together? or that you finally stopped mixing crack and heron together?

did that girlfriend last? was that new car a lemon? was the new job too hard for you. You'll find out ONE YEAR LATER!

Well, at the moment I am a student about to enter into my last year of A-levels before University. So in a years time I see myself hopefully studying in a city like Edinburgh or possibly York doing a joint honours in Archeology/Ancient History should I get the grades! :)

Relatively recently I have gained a girlfriend, in a years time I don't see why we wouldn't be together, she lives in Scotland and I live down in Yorkshire (Hopefully baffling the US residents with less knowledge of the UK :p) so hopefully in a years time we will be in a situation where we can see each other more, particularly if I am in Edinburgh.

Other than that I of course want lots of money, many many friends, a golden toilet and perhaps some sort of magical pike. :)

This is an easy one, I can stick with the reason this board is around.....comics. This month exactly marks my return to comics one year ago. I started buying comics again one year ago after a 5 1/2 year hiatus and all I can say is I FRIGGIN' LIKE IT AGAIN, things are great, there's cool, interesting stuff around and I'm having a ball with it. And the addition of the internet is just great, it's fun to read interviews, to interact with other people into the same hobby, especially from abroad, easy to look up information, just great.
Only plans for the future is getting more comics, lol. I have to complete some series and backtrack some others. Having fun is the main goal.

Well by this time next year i should be married and renting or paying for a house. Ive been going to a couple of interviews so i hope to have a new job then also. if i have a kid this time next year ,you can be sure it wasn't planned. :D

It's back! the one year later thread.A little late,but who's keeping track?

Well i got the house and still got the same job.Nobody has of yet,wanted to take me to jerry springer to do an DNA test.So no kids yet.(whew) This time next year,I'm planning on having some sort of business or retail store. unless I choose the go to school route,then i guess it'll be a change of jobs.


What about you? Where do you see your self next year about this time?

I guess I didn't notice this thread last year or the year before. I don't remember where my head was at in 2005, but if I had posted here a year ago, I would have said that I was planning to get an apartment with my girlfriend in the spring and see if we could stand to live together. Also, I would have guessed that things would continue to go okay at work and I would keep making steady payments on my debt management plan.

It took her until July to move in, but so far, so good. Actually, the first few weeks involved some major highs and lows, but things are good now. My situation at work has improved, though the company itself hasn't been doing great in recent months. And the debt management plan has been going well, as I have successfully survived the first 30 months of a 60-month plan.

Next year about this time, I expect that we will be engaged, but with no immediate plans to get married. My job may get shaky if sales don't rebound, but I feel that I will be one of the last people to go if things get really bad. And assuming I'm still on the job, I expect that I will stay on track with the debt management plan, although things may get rough as our cars continue to age.
