Did anybody read Zombie King #0?
Frank Cho's a dirty bastard but with being the sick little puppy that I am, I quite enjoyed it. It was a fun read.

I was interested in this book because Robert Kirkman plugged it in TWD, and Frank Cho's art is always amazing. But when I was flipping throught the book on Wednesday, and the third page had a panel of a zombie having sex with a cow, I knew I had to own it. And after reading it, I wasn't disappointed.
Well I'm definitely in it for the long haul and according to Cho, it'll be a 15-20 issue maxi.
That page was hilarious. The look on the guy's face at my LCS was priceles. We were flicking through and surprise, surprise, what does he see? A Zombie screwing a cow.
Those first pages were classic. I am defenatley picking up this title. I am exited to see what the zombie king looks like. Its nice to see more well done zombie comics coming out.
As far as I know, Zombie King refers to the actual drug. I could be wrong though.
I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead, but I've never really been big into zombies.
How does the first issue of Zombie King hold up for some one for me?
On another note, I think the refund offered because of the cow f**king is awesome. Image continues its groundbreaking tradition.

Well it gave new meaning to the phrase cowpoke!
Can you explain this a bit. I didn't here about this.Originally Posted by Petertime

But I read that Image has offered refunds (I believe to retailers) for the issue, as some people complainted they weren't properly warned about the content.
Image (vie Eric Stephson is memory serves me) apoligized and has stated they would refund th cost of the book and make sure that in future issues of Image comics, descriptions would better reflected their contents.
(Again, I'll double check this info and get the sources so until then don't take this as gospel)
Personally, I think its a bit silly, its a Zombie book. Its obviously not for kids.

Lucky I have a sick and twisted sense of humor. I think the book has possibilities. I'll try out the next issue.
Is the next issue scheduled for release yet, though? I've been checking Previews for about four months since Robert Kirkman mentioned the title in a TWD letters page a while back, but I haven't seen anything. #0 must have been really late as it is if I never saw a solicit for it.Originally Posted by nHammer
