If one of the Imperial Guards had to be on one of the 3 X-Men teams, who would you pick and why and on which of the 3 would you put him/her and why??

hmm...that's a tough one because with the exception of Gladiator they were scarcely developed as characters (personalitywise) so it's hard to know what they'd bring to the table. Just going on concept, appearance, and powers alone my favorites is Hobgoblin. I think his antennae are adorable and I've always had a softspot for shapeshifters. He could concievably be an interesting addition to adjectiveless. It would be fun to see what personality Milligan would give him (although with Mystique having been introduced one shapeshifter is probably enough).
Another possiblity would be Delphos, who is a precog. We don't see many of those :)
Why do you always have your posts bold, and now huge?
I liked the one that died in Morrison's imperial arc. He was a really smart dinosaur? Forget his name.

None. The inclusion of aliens dilutes the concept of the X-Men, in my opinion. I'd rather the space stuff be saved for the Avengers, or at the very least, special occasions.
if there was a mutant guards-person out there, i wouldn't mind it.
Monstra. The X-Men need some diversity. And a purple-skinned, four-armed, four-breasted, three-eyed chick is exactly what they should have.

Gladiator offcourse
He's like Superman just better developed and with a nice haircut.
I would choose Manta or Hussar.

The Imperial Guard serve the Shiar Empire. I don't think any of the guard would serve any real purpose among the X-Men.
I wouldn't want any of the Imperial Guard as a member of the X-Men.
I personally cannot stand it when the X-Men teams have a non-mutant member (Longshot, Warlock/Douglock, Val Cooper, Birdbrain, Shatterstar, Daytripper, etc.). It just dilutes the whole point.

theoretically all the members of the imperial guard might be mutants.Originally Posted by Atomic Mongoose
as for who to join- as the imperial guard all started out as legion of super-heroes analogues, i'd like to see the shadow lass counterpart and the phantom girl counterpart join. i cannot remember their names and am far too lazy to go look.

Er, diversity dilutes "the point" of peaceful co-existance? Seriously?Originally Posted by Atomic Mongoose
