What games do you have/want on your mobile phone?

I never expected it, but it's happened. I've become one of those people who gets rather giddy when a particular game becomes available for my mobile phone model.

Games for my phone, the Treo 650, were pretty rare, for a while. Ms Pac-Man and Zap!, a 2-d spaceship shoot'em game, were about as good as it got. Tetris was there, but it was the "classic" version. Not bad, to be honest, though.

Galaxian was available for the longest time, but, to ME, Galaxian was just a poor man's Galaga. Well, I've got nothin' again' the "po," but I wanted me some Galaga, sucka!

Guess what I just found out is available for my phone. :D I downloaded that sucker toDAY! So, it's my favorite, right now.

What games do YOU have or want for your mobile phone?

I've always found it to be difficult to have anything greater than "Bejeweled" to control on a phone.

Got: Micro Machines, Fifa 2004, Call of Duty, Bomberman, Ancient Empires II (really good Advance Wars style game), Defender of the Crown, and Gauntlet. GAUNTLET!!!! I've got Gauntlet on my phone, and its ace!!!!

Want: Just two. Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy. Ohhh, and if they could get Lords of Midnight on there, it'd be cool as well.

I don't blame you. If I could only have ONE game, Tetris might just be it.

Of course, now my g.f.'s got me hooked on Bejeweled (and I recently dl'd Bejeweled 2). Good stuff.

I had Scrabble, but the trial period ran out. Not sure if I'll purchase it, though. (I beamed it to a co-worker who also has a Treo 650 and she'd used up the trail version inside of two days. She old enough to be my mother, I think, so it's not what I expected.)

No phone games for me.

I don't get a lot of calls on my cell phone, but when I do, they sometimes are lengthy. Since I seem to get maybe 90 minutes of battery life on my phone per charge, I'd rather not waste it on a cell phone game. Besides, I already get too many text messages, and that's more button-pushing than I like to think about.

Phoen games are not for me.

But what is pissing me off is that a FF7 sequal (prequal?) based around the Turks is comming out for Mobile Phones. My phone isn't powerful enough.

I've been meaning to come back and mention something Morts told me some months back. Frickin' SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is available for my phone! I mean the real-deal game is available. That's NUTS!

I think it's too costly for me to do it (although if I find a cheaper version on eBay, I might hafta go there), but I like that it's an option. Turns out that it's on an sd card-sized ... cartridge or whatever, so that solves the memory issues I wondered about.

That game's probably too fast for me, but still... it's pretty cool. Heck, it's plain ol' pretty.

Can I get a "SAAAYYY-guhhhhh"?
