    Default Future Batman villains?

There's been alot of chatter about this topic in other threads, so I thought I'd devote a thread to it...

Ok, now that the tone of the series has been established with BATMAN BEGINS, who would you cast in future Batman films as villains?

    JOKER - Crispin Glover
CATWOMAN - Angelina Jolie (Scarlett Johannson would be nice too)
    TWO-FACE - Ray Liotta
    KILLER CROC - Triple H

These are the ones that come to mind at moment...
If what I said can be interpreted as something else and I offended you, I meant the OTHER thing.

The Joker- Hire and unknown actor to do all the physical movements and mannerisms and then hire Mark Hamill to do all the voice work. With the technology today they would blend the two into a seemless perfect Joker.

I could see Scarlett Johanson as Poison Ivy. But I susupect the first sequel will stear clear of Catwoman or anyone from Batman & Robin.

    What I'd like to see
2nd movie: Joker. IF, and only if, a really great casting choice can be found. I wouldnt' want to follow Jack Nicholson's shoes there. Also feature district attorney Harvey Dent, and more of Gotham's underworld, perhaps personified by Rupert Thorne.
    3rd: Dent becomes Two-Face.
4th: Bane, done properly, in a Knightfall/Knightquest inspired story.

The only problem with that is, a mass release of Arkham inmates has already been done, and frankly to only reason Bane did so well against Batman that one time is because he was so exhausted from fighting pretty much his entire rogues gallery over several days and nights with no sleep at all.

Besides, Bane is lame. He was a gimmick, like Doomsday. He's never been interesting.

The Joker: Johnny Depp. He has shown that he could play the psycho character in Secret Window and he does kinda resemble him in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

    Harley Quinn: Brittney Murphy

    Christopher Walken as Bat-Mite.

Movie 2: Do the Joker. Then he is sent to an asylum. Then introduce Harly Quinn who breaks him out.

Movie 3: Two Face with Bane as an asassain.

Movie 4: Joker's back. Only now, he's got Scarecrow and Killer Croc with him. The Scarecrow now has a scythe that emits a fear gas far more powerful than before.

Movie 5: Riddler comes in with Killer Croc.

Movie 6: Hush seeks revenge on the Riddler for killing his father. The Joker dies by being shot by Hush. But before that, he unleashes his super creation called Man Bat.

Is the general public really going to be interested in rehashes of villians they've already seen, though? As fans we might want to see it done "right" for our own satisfaction (I know I'm still mad at Forever's Two-Face), but why would Johnny Public want to see Bat-movies with the Joker, Catwoman, Riddler, Harvey Dent, etc.? They've been there and done it and it wasn't that long ago.

If they do start over, though, I'd rather see Two-Face next. Hold the Joker til part three.

If Joker's in the next one, it'll have been about nineteen years since Nicholson's performance.

They probably won't touch Riddler, Bane, Catwoman, Poison Ivy or Mr Freeze for some time.

Two-Face could be done since the Goyer-Nolan take on the character will be much different from the barely memorable, one-note Tommy Lee Jones performance.

I heard a rumor that they were thinking of getting Bruce Spence to play the Joker. If you don't know him, he was the lines-on-face alien dude in Revenge of the Sith, the Mouth of Sauron in Return of the King, the gyrocopter pilot in the Mad Max movies and "Trainman" in The Matrix Reloaded

Now, imagine that with white skin and green hair...

I'd be sceptical about any of the casting rumours right now.

They're not even sure if Nolan's going to commit to the next one and until he does and gets the script done, it's all just speculation.
