The Trading Thread

I would like to resurrect the trading thread. I'm assuming, new board or not, that selling things will still be prohibited on the boards. But I'm sure lots of people have something they want to get rid of, and I'd wager that someone else wants it, and they just might have something you need. So let's see what we can trade, folks.

The Rules:

1) No selling. There's no wiggle room on this one. If a poster tries to sell something rather than trade, the post will be deleted immediately.

2) Since there isn't any selling, there should also be no offers to buy made in the thread. If you see something you'd like to have but have nothing to trade, make an offer to the poster via private message.

3) In fact, keep all transactions limited to PMs. This thread should be limited only to posting wants, posting haves, and listing good or bads trades. Any questions about posted books and any offers should be made via PM.

4) Even though this is a comic board, posters aren't limited to trading just comics. You can list comics, CCGs, trading cards, posters, magazines, music, movies, toys...or anything else you can think of. I'm sure somebody has something you need.

5) List good/bad traders if you'd like, but that's not a requirement.

6) Even though there isn't money changing hands, you're still going to have to pay for shipping, so minors should get a parent's permission before doing anything.

And remember, NO SELLING!!!!!!!!!

If anyone remembers any rules that I failed to put up, just let me know and I'll edit the post.

Rock on. I've been meaning to join this thread at some point anyway, because I want to do away with most of my monthly comics and replace them with TPBs.

I just wanted to say, I just finalised a trade with Ryankirk80 that went really well.

we hit a couple of snags, but nothing serious, and Ryan was always friendly, flexible and looking for solutions that both of us could be happy with. I'd trade with him again any time. Hopefully he'd say the same about me!
