I think this is the new Honor Harrington book from David Weber. The book, Storm From The Shadows will be out March 2009.

That's what I hoped, but it's a sequel to "The shadow of Saganami" (same universe, but parallel storylines). So the plot from the main Honor series probably won't be advanced much.

Still, it's good news... "Shadow of Saganami" had a certain freshness that had been missing from the more recent and ponderous Honor Harrington novels.

That's good news too. I love The Shadows of Saganami book.

But I disagree with you about calling the recent Honor Harrington novels ponderous. I've always found them enjoyable.

I got the book and read it. I liked the story but was kind of irritated with the actions of the main character.

The paperback edition of the John Sandford novel featuring the character Virgil Flowers, Heat Lightning will be out October 6th. The new hardcover book featuring Flowers will be out in September.

Janet Evanovich's next Stephanie Plum book will be called Finger Lickin' Fifteen and it is due out June 23rd.

Kate Elliott's Traitor's Gate is tentatively due out in August/September.


The third book in the Jennifer Roberson's Karavans series will be called The Wild Road.

Kristen Britain's The High King's Tomb will be out in paperback in August.

The new Archer Mayer novel featuring Joe Gunther is called The Price of Malic and it is due out September 29th.
