Rick, you asked about Frazer Irving ... so ...
Not only is Frazer Irving a nice guy (though very short ... and from Essex) but he's an incredible artist and firm fan favourite in 2000AD. A personal favourite of mine too, he's recently gone all digital but I have the pleasure of owning a hand drawn page he did a while back. I heartily recommend his work, such as Necronauts, which has been published as a collected edition - though you might have seen his Fort: Prophet of the Unexplained series a while ago, which saw Harry Houdini, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Charles Fort and HP Lovecraft combine forces to fight great evil! Necronauts really is him at the height of his powers, though From Grace in 2000AD marked a change in style and technique.
You guys over there need him ... you need him baaaaad!
Fort: Prophet of the Unexplained, which he got after his Necronauts work in 2000AD.
From Grace from the pages of 2000AD
Klarion the Witch Boy - his most recent US work
The Authority, on which he never got a proper shot. Shame really, I think it needed a gothic edge about the time he drew this ...
Sorry about the image heaviness
