The Viking chick was hot. Garth Ennis wrote Dr. Strange as if he were British, which I didn't like. Other than that, it was okay.

I read the comics when they first came out; it was a great story.
I'd like to see more Max stories featuring Thor.
Oh wait; the Max line is going away.
    And Thor is dead.

    Never mind

    That was a good mini.

Not just British, but flambouyantly gay. Which I guess is kind of redundant. Oh well.

I was flipping through it just now, and while he does make him sound British, he also gives him lots of funny lines too, which I had forgotten about. I guess it didn't bother me that much, but when you know Dr. Strange is American and he's written like someone out of a Merchant-Ivory film, it's a little off-putting.

I thought it was pretty good.

Violent, but enjoyable. I loved the scene with Cap holding Iron Man, and screaming "We need a medic."

It was disturbing seeing Thor get humiliated in battle.

Americans don't say nonsense like nonsense either.

I read it awhile ago, and thought it was great. Very violent, which I liked (when a book has MAX on the cover, I expect them to deliver).

Yeah, I just picked it up to read on the train and it was perfect for a nice short bit of fun. I know I'll be crucified by many for this, but I actually prefer the camp smart-arse Dr.Strange -"Downright bizarre I'd say"
And I also enjoyed the play on the usual wheres-the-villian-gone? style ending.
Not Big or clever, but fun

One of the few MAX books I bought. I agree, it was outstanding!!! Loved the judicious use of dark humor (without going completely over the top). Lots of great art to go with a cool story, too!
