I always liked Havok and Polaris because they were never used as much in the original X-men, and they were the more dynamically powered ones. Every time Claremont would make them guest star, I secretly wanted them to join the X-men full-time.
My most memorable Havok moment was when Alex, skulking about and spying on the X-men to find out what was going down during the Mutant Massacre, had a lot of thoughts on what he was doing, and it was a rare insight into his mmind, becauswe he was always relgated to a supporting role before that. And I loved how he thought about how he thought that his old black outfit was so skintight that it showed everything.
And then I started imagining everything.
Ah, good times...
