I was noticing that there wasn’t a thread dedicated to the Hellions so I decided to compile a list of all the Hellions (not that there were that many).

Whos your favorite, who had the coolest powers, who is your least favorite, whats your opinion on them, and why? If you want, you can list your favorites from each group as well.

I personally loved Catseye the most. She was adorable, and her and Rahne(my favorite New Mutant) had the cutest friendship. She always made me smile when she talked and her death actually made me really upset. I personally think they should bring her back somehow. They did after all do that with Tarot, another great character from the Hellions.

I also really like Cessily(Mercury) the most in NXAX too. She is a great character and has a lot of potential to be even better. Her brother/sister relationship with Julian(Hellion) is really great and could lead into lots of conflict. what do you guys think.

Lol. Yes, Emma made love to a spanish sex god working as a stripper at one of the Hellfire clubs parties for the upperclass women of society, while she was drunk from drinking too many glasses of red wine. I can see it now. ;) :D :evilsmile

His powers were kinda creepy. Another level of telepathy that solely deals with emotion. Nick(PhoenixboyX) always says it's ridiculous that he was able to control them, but I figure it is all because of the high levels of infatuation he'd make his victims feel for him that he could simply manipulate their actions by telling them how to act, and they'd enjoy doing it for him... wow... that isn't just creepy, it's dirrty ;)

Lol. I agree, but did he really ever best Emma with his powers? I know he tried using them on her once, but she overcame it and stuff. I know they really started to hate eachother towards the end too, which is another really good conflict in a mother son relationship.

Controlling someone's emotions is no more far fetched than controlling their thoughts . . . especially as emotions are much more powerful motivators than thoughts. That's kind of the *point* of emotions, heh. All evil telepaths are super-creepy (if you don't believe me, read the awesome X-Manson fanfic!) - but Empath being so young, and so totally casual about his manipulation of people, that just about quadrupled the scary factor.

As a big Magneto fan (gee, you think anyone noticed?) I also love how comprehensively Empath was able to screw with his head in New Mutants :)

That's why i love continuity so much - the characters have a history together. But it's so easy to forget everything. They could do an Unlimited issue where they are reunited.

I miss them so much. It's so unfair that so many loveable character(in my opinion) got killed. *thinks of poor Catseye... tear*

But how would they do it? Since they are dead, they would have to make up some exuce... I guess they could use the King Bedlam excuse they used for Tarot. And then they could like, so join together and take over the world. :p :D :evilsmile

I bought the NXM:AX trade a few weeks ago, and I love love love Tags power, for some reason I think it's awesome.
