Worst Marvel Character

There's a big difference between a character that never really caught on with me (Ghost Rider, Moonknight) and truly terrible characters (Paste Pot Pete, D-Man). It's mostly a matter of writing I suppose. I couldn't give 2 squats about most cosmic heroes before Anihilation. Now they are awesome. My vote for worst character? I have a special kind of hate for the Puppet Master. He always looked like a kiddie molester to me. Creepy & lame.

The Sentry. His cape, ability of flight, an 'S' insignia, combined with his uber-duper powerset, just reminds me of a mentally retarded Superman. He's simply unecessary.

Especially since that was the EXACT basis for another Marvel character. (DC was not particularly happy with this at the time.)

Sentry is useless. He needs to throw himself into the sun. If that doesn't work, make himself and everyone else (including we the readers please!) forget about him again.

Red Hulk has overstayed his wwelcome by about 6 issues. He can go now.

That Marquis Of Death in Millar's Fantastic Four was stupid. The whole storyline was stupid, but he, especially, was moronic. "I'll wear a bucket on my head, a cape, and no pants! FEAR ME!"

Maggot is by far the worst and most useless character I've ever seen in my comicbook reading experience.

Don't really care for Sentry, either.

Not to mention Medusa.

And Layla Miller.

Even if that were true, that still wouldn't mean he wasn't terrible.

Let's see....almost any X-Men related charachter created after the earlier New Mutants (up to and including Magma) pretty much all suck. There might be a decent one here or there if I really think about it, but maybe not. Some of the Hellions were neat. Guido was terrible but was made really good. Special levels of loathing are reserved for Cable, Bishop, Stryfe, Mr Sinister, Shaterstar, Feral, Marrow, Maggot, and Domino.

Every Spider themed charachter after Julia, excepting May, sucked. Actually, Ben was kind of decent potentially too.

Almost all of the Alpha Flight members not created by Byrne are pretty bad (although every one of the JB created ones are great).
