Worst Marvel Character

with countless 'who's your favourite character' threads how about a 'who's your worst marvel character?'
for me it's:

Spider-man
Wolverine

Wolverine and Spider-man? as the worst? OK thne.

Weirdly although I do think Wolverine is around too much, he's a good character when used well, just too much of anything can make you sick.

But for the worst character in my view: Elektra. *Shudders*

i'm not saying they're bad characters per se, just that i personally have no interest in either of them.

whats wrong with those three characters? all three of them have died at one point but one of them should have stayed dead because the death had such a strong impact on readers. worst marvel character for me would be howard the duck

Razorback's kind of a useless character... but then again, I really enjoy useless characters for some reason (hence my appreciation of the Great Lakes Avengers)

Worst in what regard? Knowing how you would define "worst" would help in formulating a more accurate answer. For instance, to me Daredevil is the worst. I've never been interested in him for even the briefest of times, no matter who was writing the book or doing the art. But that's just me...a lot of other people find him to be their favorite character for years.

Just funny thought, Stan Lee always says that Diablo is the character that he liked the least. I always have a feeling though, knowing Stan and his memory, that he just grabbed a character name at random that he could remember and stuck with it as a worst character.

Sounds fair. I for one do not read Spider-man books becuase the character doesn not appeal to me. But he is a good character.

Elektra on the other hand, I just don't like.


But if we are going to select the actual 'worst', then that is a hard job, we could scroll through countless single appearence villians and heroes that are just generally the 'Worst'.

The way she's being written in her current series, I would say She-Hulk is the character I have no interest in.
So I guess she could be the "worst", in that sense.

As for who I think is a really bad character from its beginning, I would go with
Mattie Franklin (The third Spider-Woman)-To me, she was a pointless character... but I am sure she has her fans.

I don't really feel there is a need for Toxin but again, I am sure he has his followers.

At the risk of third degree burns from being flamed, all of the old avengers minus Iron Man. Reading Avengers was like watching days of our lives for me, too much drama.

ANY and ALL of the New Warriors
