He is helping to rebuild Genosha along with his father and Professor X, as far as I know. As for how powerful he is, he can run really fast, and thats about it. His top speed currently is supposed to be around Mach 5, which is very fast for a Marvel speedster.

As far as I know his last apperance was Avengers Finale, although I suspect he'll appear in House of M

Sorry, I dont read Excalibur, but I had heard that he was in that book, helping Mags. If that is incorrect, then my bad, I am sure I saw someone on these boards saying that, but I do not read the book.Originally Posted by Crimson

There's been no actual stated speed. Anything regarding Mach V or any other speed is speculation.Originally Posted by marvelboy
However, the greatest example of his speed was probably running across the Atlantic Ocean, finding Bruce Banner, and carrying Banner back to Europe in a matter of seconds. Do with that what you will.

Again sorry, people on the Rumbles board were quoting Mach 5 as fact, so I assumed it had been stated. Either way, he is a lot faster than before. Now, I will leave this thread before I get something else wrong. :oOriginally Posted by mattbib

Pietro hasn't appeared in Excalibur, but he did have knowledge of Magneto's presence in Genosha when he appeared in Avengers Finale. As there's a six-month gap now in Excalibur, it's possible that Pietro's been visiting his father behind the scenes since Magneto asked Xavier to help fix Wanda.Originally Posted by Fever

He's potentially extremely powerful. But beyond that, even how he uses his powers (as someone said - he runs really fast) hasn't been properly developed. Englehart had him using his momentum to bounce off walls and rebound off multiple targets. I've always imagined him been able to run straight up buildings and build up enough speed to leaps distances. Plus there's the notion Nicieza I think brought up that his powers are essentially based on an ability to manipulate time!
Didn't the old Quicksilver/ H4H crossover have Quicksilver breaking out of chains using some power other than superspeed? Was that ever explained?
I'm autistic. What's your excuse?
AKA Muffin, Rear Admiral Nerdcock...
Y'know that thing I said that got you offended? I was just joking.
The ability to control time?? I just thought he was a speedster....do you think Marvel will ever augment him to flash type of speed or is that too much?
^ That speed's a little too unreasonable in the Marvel Universe. Heck, it's even unreasonable in the DCU, which is why none of the stories Flash is ever in makes any sense considering his power level.
What I'd like to know is where have they hidden his wife, Crystal? Is she still on the moon?Originally Posted by marvelboy

WHo knows? The last theory is that Wanda and her brother can Manipulate time and space. Considering that their father can now open up wormholes I imagine that their powerlevel isn`t out of the question. Hopefully after the House Of M the three of them weill be back down to normal powerlevels. Given the amount of Power amoung the Mutanr population its amazing that most of the interstellar races haven`t gathered together to wipe em out.
busiek wrote him to be faster than anyone else ever did...
running back and forth across the atlantic, running up buildings, etc...
in his solo series, he couldnt run across water, i think. i never read the series, but i remember reading an interview with the writer before it started and he was saying all the stuff he couldnt do.
roy thomas had him flying around by flapping his arms real fast, and bouncing around like a pinball waaaay back in the day (check out some essential avengers 2, 4).
in general i'd say mach V is pretty reasonable, or even a little too high.
Busiek wrote him using the power levels as granted by Isotope E in the Quicksilver series.
Pietro could run up buildings and across bodies of water of limited size prior to Isotope E.
The theory of Pietro controlling time is old, first brought about by Stryfe in Stryfe's Strikefile back in 1993.
Quicksilver likely broke through those chains, Sagroth, by vibrating fast enough to shake the chains molecules apart...or something as such.
