i dunno......i have seen some good pirates and some good ninjas along with some really bad pirates and really bad ninjas.........

i am in a pirate mood. i am gonna go with pirates.

i dunno if a ninja could take a whole shiup of pirates. creaky wooden floors, the crew is pretty much everywhere not to mention it could be a ragen maelstrom.

who knows and who cares really. they are almost completely different. like robbers and sam fischer, assasin extradonaire.

Although ninjas are generally cooler. Most individual pirates are way cooler, like say the Dred pirate Roberts and Jack Sparrow. Plus you never see a whole group of pirates get man-handled by one man, unlike what happens to most groups of ninjas. Even Pan needed magic and a gang of friends.

One Pirate > One ninja
One ninja > Group of ninjas
Group of pirates > One Pirate
One Pirate > Group of ninjas
Group of pirates > Group of ninjas

Yes! How could I forget this one? He is without a doubt the baddest ninja around next to Elektra. Seriously though, I think it comes down to this:

Pirates = drunk, rowdy, party animal mentality

Ninjas = sleek, elegant, sophisticated.

I guess it just depends on your personality.

I'm amazed by the popularity of pirates at my school, honestly.

Ninjas seem more in with the devoutly geeky and those with more refined social tastes whereas pirates are more the domain of the nerdy and the partiers. (I would say frat boys but we don't have frats here.)

Despite being a ninja fan, I went to my school's NINJAS VS. PIRATES DANCE BATTLE as a pirate. Which meant I went around putting an eyepatch on and telling people that I downloaded music illegally. (It was kindof a punchline for all the times I've done all out such as when I was Batman for Halloween. Everyone expected me in a full costume so I decided I'd surprise them by underdoing it this time.)

More pirates showed up but I'm sure the ninjas outnumbered us invisibly in the shadows.

Now, as a spectator, I prefer ninjas. But ninjas have to get... well... stitches that act as permanant athletic support. So considering that, I'd probably rather BE a pirate given the choice despite the bad teeth.

All things considered, I think Humphrey Bogart could take 'em all out and I'd rather be an old hollywood guy in a double-breasted suit and fedora than a pirate OR a ninja.

Oh and the constant Pirates of the Caribbean viewings...
