This and Iron Man: Rise of Technovore have 2 and a half stars on Amazon.

Justice League War has 3 and a half.

I can tell you right now that one of those Marvel animated films has a higher quality than that mediocre Justice League movie, while the other certainly has more potential than what JLW has shown us.

Can't say the same for Iron Man & Hulk.

    Liu is a so-so writer.
I don't know who decides the assignments, but I would give this project to someone else.

Why? Because it wasn't set in the DCAU? Which is the usual excuse people have for not liking non-DCAU films these days

Anyway I hope the dialogue in this one is better. The dialogue in the X-Men anime was cringe inducing at times.

Huh? Where did you get that idea from? I never enough brought up the DCAU.

My problem was that the characters were portrayed horribly and deviated from their original portrayals (if this was the way the New 52 portrayed them...*facepalm*), there was no sense of threat, the villain was flat, and the story was weak at best.

Maybe because it wasn't very good? No point projecting other people's opinions on that guy when he might just not have liked it. I know I didn't think much of it.

No, because it sucked and swallowed.

Because it was based on garbage source material that barely improved on it and was overshadowed by the "kiddie" companion animated movie that came along with it.

I really enjoy the Marvel animes under Madhouse. I think they're really underrated and for some reason, not much energy is put into them. I thought Rise of Technovoir had so many great things going for it. And this sounds like it'll be similar. I really hope we get more from Madhouse beyond these movies. The cartoons on Disney are just awful and DC has proven that there is a strong market for more mature animation.

She's pretty much the only writer that made Daken an interesting character, which I commend her for.

What, did you not like Daniel Way, or Brian Michael Bendis takes?

Liu's Black Widow was awesome, so I'm excited for this.

I'm with Supernature. Liu's opening arc to the previous Black Widow ongoing was great. I don't know why they moved her from the book. Her involvement is a major plus.

Heaven knows it's better than Jeph Loeb being involved or at this point Man of Action as well.
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.
