Marvel's movie posters (unlike their movies) have been notoriously crappy, ill considered, inattentive to composition, color, and impact, and most of all poorly photoshoped (look no further than their most awesome movie/terrible poster - the Avengers). This is the first time that they've had a poster that made me want to see a more than I already did. The simplicity of the layout, and the bravado of the text say it all. Marvel is confident in this production.

How long before the comic book has the team wearing those red/purple costumes?

I think we need more Guardians of the Galaxy threads, I still see a couple non-related ones on the front page.

Fairly cool poster, nice line up, good art etc.

Poor Hulk, all he ever wanted for Summer blockbuster is to be acknowledged.

That poster is really nice. Which is surprising given how poor The Avengers posters were.

I like the "You're Welcome". They're aware how ridiculous this project is.

What I like about this poster is that it doesn't look like every other comic book movie poster in recent years.
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.

    "You're welcome"

    Thank you indeed Marvel.

Six years ago when DnA's run started I would not have believed that these characters would be in a big blockbuster movie before Wonder Woman. But here we are.

Peter Quill looks to be the spitting image of the movie version in upcoming issues in the comic.

I know, right? I remember jumping into Annihilation, being utterly blown away by the epic story and its bold reinterpretation of these old, weird, stagnant characters, and seeing my favorite Marvel hero, Nova, and my favorite Marvel team, Guardians of the Galaxy, emerge from it with stellar writing, great storylines, memorable characters, and bold originality.

And we're getting a movie. I still can't believe it.

Now all we need is Richard Rider showing up near the end or something and I'll be on cloud nine.

    I love it.

I've seen a FCBD cover with him in the red coat n mask, but some people saying thats just a movie variant. Is there confirmation he's having a costume change?
