Okay, barely been keeping track before just now, what the hell?

THAT guy is playing graying at the temples Reed Richards? That bothers me infintitely more than Michael B. Jordan as Johnny--that dude I can see nailing it. Oh well, I don't know the actor, I'm sure the people casting had their reasons. It probably won't be that bad. Who've they got to play loveable roughneck Ben Grimm again?

    HELL NO.
    Best of the Best
Grant Morrison; Alan Moore; Mark Waid; Warren Ellis; Mark Millar (when not all Millar-y); Elliot S! Maggin; Kurt Busiek; Jonathan Hickman; Matt Fraction; Jason Aaron; Garth Ennis.

    Go to Hell, Fox.

As for the Director, you've got all the goodwill from me when you did Chronicles but it seems to me the real talent was the screenwriter.

Politically correct pandering and clearly aimed to a younger populace who have 0 knowledge about source material. Like soemone suggested they should turn Richards and Grimm into gay lovers to fill the quota. Teller and Bell are great actors, but Kate Mara could not act her way out of a grocery bag. Which means nothing if I do not want to see movie.

I just really hope that they aren't going to go with a female Doom, as rumours are suggesting.

I'm curious to see how they're going to spin Johnny and Sue still being siblings. Or are they going to be siblings at all? Or are they only going to be adoptive siblings or half-siblings?

Yeah making it not be 100% or anything close to the source material did wonders for Catwoman and Jonah Hex. Oh wait. It didn't

They're playing the" Treat the non fans like idiots" card with this one if this is the case

Most of the time it's usually the screenwriter.

Has anyone at Fox ever once in their life so much as picked up an issue of Fantastic Four?

I mean, except to point at it and say, "Let's not make it anything like this."?
The "Son of Batman" movie reminded me of the first reason I hated Grant Morrison's Batman run: Talia raped Batman and got away with it.

This is going to make the Superman/Batman movie look good in comparison.

In fairness, while it's still a bizarre choice, I believe it's already been made clear that Ben's going to be completely CG in this one.
