I just hate that they would stoop to killing The Watcher. He is actually one of my fave characters in the MU and I hope he is somehow brought back. I will pass on this story.

I hope all those who were wondering about the Doc Strange and Panther film release realize that this event is probably the beginning of the their push.

About the event however......I'm not really interested in this. I would like to know what happen to Uatu but the cast of characters aren't any I really care about outside of Cap and I can get him in several other titles. I'm sitting this one out.

I'll give it a go. Seems interesting enough.

The implications with Cap's memory are huge. I hope it doesn't mess with Hickman's story.

This screams Identity Crisis, which is one of my favorite DC events. Count me in, and I was skeptical of this when it was announced.

This is Marvel. They'll kill ANY character. No character is safe at all from the current Marvel regime.
Storm and The Black Panther, T'Challa and Ororo

It's foolish to hate characters for actions that are controlled by writers.

If you don't like a character's behavior, blame the writer.

I read this part and felt confirmation that the premise here is kinda stupid:

"When the heroes find The Watcher's body on the moon, his eyes are gone," Aaron said. "The Watcher's eyes are really the secret to unlocking everything he's witnessed over the years. Whoever holds one of the eyes is able to explode a bomb full of secrets and unleash all the various secrets of the Marvel Universe into the wild through that eye."

This seems like it will fit with Hickman's story quite well. The Illuminati wiped Cap's mind. Seems like he'll find out about the Incursions...again. Meaning it takes us to a potential Avengers vs Illuminati war.

Well even more if you think about as mentioned earlier what about finding out that Sharon was pregnant. That would be a double blow to Cap.

It definitely fits, I just personally would rather see the revelation occur from events in the actual Avengers book, not a line-wide event.

I assumed Cap would eventually discover he was manipulated, just not due to Original Sin. But who knows, the book's aren't out yet.
