It's not the highest rated demo. TVD and The Originals are first... as stated in the very article CBR is sourcing.

Lethal news, this is. Makes sense and looking forward to seeing more of Oliver and co. when the 2nd season returns and the 3rd begins.

The sourced THR article quotes CW Mark Pedowitz as saying "The Vampire Diaries" is No. 2 in its timeslot, and states that "Arrow" as "still the network's most-watched series with 3.9 million viewers."

The piece has also been updated to include the official press release from the CW about the renewal, which states the same information.

Good. Arrow deserves this. Arguably the best superhero show ever made.

As if there was ever a doubt. They should just renew it, Big Bang Theory style and have them re-up for 3 more years.
    Buy Green Arrow!!!!!

    Do you mean now, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or next year, 4th, 5th and 6th?

Just worry, if the latter, that'd be too much for Arrow, as five seasons seems a nice, logical amount, especially with five years of Lian Yu, last shot of series finale meant to be Oliver getting rescued.

Definitely no contest for the best live action superhero show.

I would say let's have 4 or 5 seasons. I don't like it when shows go on for to long and become mediocre.

Arrow isn't the kind of show that would benefit in being a long runner. Five seasons I can see but if longer than that then the series will eventually become stale.

I'd go as far as to call it the best live action DC adaptation.
