    I dont know if I would consider Doom an Avengers villain really, but I will include him on my list anyway. :)

There are good villains that haven't even been mentioned....like : The Skrulls,The Space Phantom(s),Akron,Hydra,Thanos,Attuma,The Purple Man,Loki,The Collector,Terminus,The Enchantress,Mephisto,The Dire Wraiths,The Grandmaster,Terrax,The Super Skrull,Maelstorm,The Magus,The Absorbing Man,Egghead,Klaw,The Radioactive Man,The Taskmaster,Mr.Hyde,The Grey Gargoyle,Tiger Shark,Melter,Man-Killer,Whirlwind,Magneto,Speed Demon ( as Thw Whizzer ).......and many more I could name.

    Im sorry, but there are many characters on that list that I would consider sub-par, and also quite a few that I wouldnt count as being Avengers villains any more than Red Skull.

    These guys pretty much shredded the Avengers in some of the best issues ever, #176-177 and #201-202.
    There really aren't any others close in my opinion, though perhaps I might include Baron Zemo.
