^That looks pretty neat. Was unfamiliar with the comic, but my Google Fu pointed me to 'Top 10'. Premise sounds interesting.

Top Ten is a fun read. And it's full of Easter eggs in the background artwork.

Byrne is hit and miss for me. This particular page is good, and I'm sure I have this Star Lord, as I think I have most anything Star Lord, but there's a lot that I don't like of his. And a lot of it was early in my reading of comics, when I didn't pay attention much to names and followed characters. I think first Byrne I saw was the ALIENS book he did. To me, it looked horrible. But I did like much of his art on FF, and tends is probably the longest stretch of FF that has ever held my interest. I would have also liked to see someone else draw Sensational She Hulk instead of him. The writing was fine, but I think there were much better artists to suit the character than him.

I think the Starlord he did was early in his career. He was a great storyteller, nowadays, most of his work lacks backgrounds.

There was a Marvel GN that Bruce Jones did about a mother and daughter trapped in an area that exhibited things out of time, like biplanes, dinosaurs and the such. That won me on his art. Good story too. I've never heard of this one, I'll have to give it a look.
