Default PREVIEW: Guardians of the Galaxy, #12

Marvel is pleased to present your first look at GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #12, from the rock star creative team of Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli! Jean Grey has been abducted by the Shi'ar Empire - accused of cataclysmic crimes she has yet to commit. But not all is as it seems. How are Star-Lord's malevolent father and the Spartax Empire involved? Now, as the Guardians of the Galaxy and the All-New X-Men race to the edge of the deep space to rescue her - they'll enlist the help of some very unlikely allies. One of whom will have world shattering consequences for one of the All-New X-Men! But even they may not be enough to stop the most powerful army in the Universe. Don't miss the encounter that will have everyone buzzing this February in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #12!

    Really great art.

An unlikely ally...in space...that has ties to one ANXM. Bendis wouldn't bring back Corsair, right?

I wonder how many questions and answers are being repeated in that Jean/Oracle interrogation.
Life is a waste of time, time is a waste of life, so get wasted all the time and you'll have the time of your life.

I'd hope it's Master of the Sun or Ship but that would be cool too.

Corsair could be fun. I could see J'son as well though depending on how pissed he as at the birdmen.

Good to see that Laura's also coming along with the O5 on this and seems to be comforting Scott about Jeen.
Holding out for a Peter/Miles team up.

Who owns the film rights to The Shi'ar? Fox or Marvel. I'm wondering how big the galactic community will be in GotG.

That would be so great to have "ship" return! I always loved her dynamic with Star-Lord in the old comics.

I thought the physiology of how his eye beams worked made it impossible for Scott to cry.

Exceptional art. The script is awful as always.

Great art. Great moment with O5 Cyclops and X-23. And I'm guessing that alien woman is O5 Jean's lawyer. Doesn't look like she had any good legal advice for her.
