Sounds good so far. I'm not too familiar with Magnus, but FVL has a measure of my trust as a creator.
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.

Speaking as a fan of the Original Valiant era's Magnus, I am very keen to check this new version out. Fred Van Lente is a great writer and Cory Smith's artwork looks cool in the samples. Kind of Kevin O'Neill-eqsue, which is very appealing to me.

Totally jazzed for this, but whoa, DreamWorks owns these characters now ?

Only a matter of time until these hit the big screen. Can you imagine Turok ?

The interior art reminds me of Rick Leonardi's Spiderman 2099 art.

Magnus was one of my favorites from the early Valiant years. Looking forward to checking out an updated version.

i didn't realize that dreamworks owned these character now... that does seem to increase the likelihood of big screen versions. and also decrease the likelihood of valiant getting their hands on them for good. maybe if the movies bomb???

I may have to check this out. I read the Valiant Magnus off and on (I still have the Magnus vs. Predator two-parter, which I always enjoyed) and I like the artwork. Like someone said, it reminds me a little of Spider-Man 2099.

I'm not sure I like the characterization of Leeja as a bounty hunter, but hey its magnus, I got to give it a try.

So pumped up about this! I would love to see the line expanded beyond the 4 initial comics, but somehow I can't see that happening. But still, I'd be happy with the 4 monthlies and a few surrounding mini's here and there.
