Duuuuuude, I can't add any more comics! I'll switch to trades for Uber and not pick up Parker's Aquaman so I can get this one.

Can't wait -- Parker's been killing it on King's Watch (which seems to be the prelude to this series).

So would everyone here consider King's Watch a worthwhile read?

It will take Kings Watch's place on my pull, so no need to add a book for me, but yeah, would have preferred more King's Watch or a Mandrake ongoing-as its been longer since we saw one of those. Still, new Flash Gordon is a good thing.

He saved every one of us!

I'll try to pick up Kings Watch on Wednesday, I had forgotten about it since I read the first news article here a few months back.

it's pretty good but the guy drawing it appears to be pretty slow. it's been several months already since issue 3 and #4 is currently solicitated for 2/19.

Definitely. I'd recommend checking it out. It's better than a lot of books on the stands right now.

Nice covers, question: does Kings Watch take place in the 1930's or in modern times?
Didn't like the last FG series that took place in the past.

Modern times. It's been pretty good so far, though I can't say I love the art...it's just OK. Parker does a great job, though.

    Ah yes!

This is the FLASH GORDON series I wanted. The art in Zeitgeist was just awful. Jeff Parker is the PERFECT guy for this. Anyone disagree need only read AGENTS OF ATLAS.

    So stoked. So damn stoked.

    lol I'd bet you are.

Evan Shaner on art is also a really huge draw for me. Dynamite/Avatar rarely employ artists of his caliber.

I like them all, but I'm definitely getting the Shalvey one and I'm also leaning toward the Case one.
