Really not trying to be a jerk, but I have to ask - why after only 8 issues is this book on it's third artist?

So I guess you haven't noticed that that's generally the rule of thumb with Valiant's creative team rotations?

Sure, they have some artists in residence on certain titles (Perez on A&A springs to mind immediately), but for the most part new arcs = changes in artists.

Meanwhile, I just want Fowler back on this book. Please.

I guess not. I'd have to really go back and look. I've noticed fill ins and rotating teams - like the guys on XO, but I honestly don't remember whole sale artists shifts every arc.

Wonder if the robots have anything to do with Webnet or PRS?

While Fowler's art definitely has that right comedic punch, Kano is no slouch. The book is in good hands visually.
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.

Oh, MOST definitely. But I loved Fowler's cartoonish spirit.

I'm more impressed by the three artists they've gotten: Fowler, Doyle, and Kano. All three are exceptional.

I'm excited! This book gets better with each month!

If only Magnus was still around to help these guys...

Have you been looking at Doyle's art in this comic? It looks like hot garbage. It's sloppy, inconsistent, extremely low on detail, there are hardly any backgrounds, etc.

If not for this news, I'd be dropping my subscription. I'm really hoping the art jumps back to at least Fowler levels with Kano.

Absolutely disagree on Doyle. It's strong, kinetic storytelling with a humorous edge. There may be no extraneous detail, but there doesn't need to be.

To each their own, but when I see artwork like this I don't see strong, kinetic storytelling. I see sloppy artwork with bad anatomy and no effort put into detail or backgrounds.

    1. Straight shot of Woody's face and the his glasses are extremely uneven
    2. Guns look like chunks of wood
    3. Six guns in the top panel, five guys holding guns in the next panel.
    4. Postures look unnatural and uncomfortable
    5. Thumb in bottom panel is twisted in the incorrect direction for that angle

And that's just the first page of the issue, and not even one of the worst pages.

Strong, kinetic storytelling with a humorous edge is how I'd describe Fowler's artwork. Maybe Doyle draws better in other comics?
