Default Maniac Hunts Psycho in Bunn's "Deadpool Vs. Carnage"

Cullen Bunn talks to CBR about "Deadpool Vs. Carnage," which pits the symbiote-enhanced serial killer against the Marvel's possibly just as crazy Merc.

Jeez... going after Carnage and tying the knot in the same month. Big year for Deadpool.

I like neither of the characters but this is finally one VS that actually makes sense. I hope Deadpool perma-kills this filthy poser of the 90's.

It's one of those stories where every issue ups the violence and insanity level. I think every encounter between the two title characters is fun, but you'll see a fight in the final issue that, to my mind, is unlike anything you've ever seen in a Marvel combat comic.
This is literally all I needed to hear to back this book 100%.

Mega-Sold! I wish there was a chance that Carnage could end Deadpool once and for all, but that would be to good to be true.
Marvel, STOP writing for the Trade so I can go back to collecting Monthlies again. Thanks.

I'll admit, as a force of nature I find Carnage compelling but as a character he really relies on the level of awful things he's willing to do to be interesting. All well and good, but it's a hard character type to use as a main character.

He's also kind of cheapened by all the other Venom variants.

If this isn't just played for laughs it could be quite a good run. There's a lot of differences between these two characters, both exist at the fringes of their respective camps (Carnage is an outcast in the Marvel villains bloc, Deadpool in the heroes bloc) yet Deadpool is consistently trying to be a better person and do good with the public, whereas Carnage is always reveling in chaos and murder.

Oh my god, why didn't I think of this before? I hope this is the Cledus Carnage. I can just imagine the one-liners. Please let there be a meat suit involved somewhere in this.

It's like Dexter Vs. Brian(you know, Dexter's brother).
