I really want to love this but, I think the Guardians' movie should have nothing to do with Groot and Rocket. They are an overused gag which can become very annoying. Also, Ronin?? Why not use one of the 1000s of Marvel villains we know and hate?
Namor is King! Killraven too. Mantis is the greatest!

Shatterstar is gay. Deadpool is Bi.

There is no Guardians of the Galaxy without Rocket.

That's Ronan. And how isn't he one of those villains?

There was for decades. Rocket is just an over-used joke left over from an old Hulk book.

Oh, OK. I'm used to The Accuser following his name. I thought they were making up a new villain. Getting used to him being a good guy lately.

I'm guessing the orb will be one of the infinity gems and will fall into the hands of the collector by movie's end ?

    .
    Stop reading Bendis' crap.

Rocket is no joke. He's a master tactician.

    Try the 2008 DnA run.

Added: Gunn already said Rocket is the heart of the movie as well.

Plus, he's being played by goddamn Bradley Cooper. An Oscar-level actor.

Agreed. Seeing Rocket in this image almost sells me on seeing this on the big screen. A trailer would be nice.

I'm looking forward to seeing this in the theaters, but man is this going to be hard sell for the general public. Marvel Studios may very well have the worst performing comic book movie of the summer. :(
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me are people that think Final Crisis is good.

Well, I'm old school. I MUCH preferred the original "Guardians of the Galaxy" so the comic or this movie don't appeal to me at all.

Easy sell Sci fi movie set in space with a talking racoon :)

Also think the worst damage to this movie will be the current comic which is terrible

I really wish people would stop shitting all over the excitement for this.

I think it will do well and will be great.
