Looks even better than the 1st issue.

And She-Fox may be an illusion but it's good to see her.

Also gotta say... The Fox has been the first series that has made me want to get all the variant covers for.
Reading: Batman '66, The Fox, New Crusaders, Kings Watch, Trio/Triple Helix, Afterlife with Archie, Mysterious Strangers, Daredevil and Hawkeye. And soon: Silver Surfer...

Finally got and read my copy today.

I like that the flashback sequence was handled very well.
Of course, the dialogue was perfect.

And, I found the last couple pages of Shield to be really good.

I was kinda surprised that they mentioned Kelly as Fly-Girl, as I don't think Fox has met up with her post-Rise of the Heroes. I was expecting that to be touched on at the end of the series.

I'm also curious as to who these other pulp-inspired heroes could be. We may be seeing some new old-blood in the Red Circle Universe. Perhaps they could form their own team. Especially since Fox would be too old to join the Crusaders now. And Shield will need somewhere to go once the kids break free from under his wing.

And... Why do I want so badly to see Dusty get a mini-series of his own..?

I loved it. I really enjoyed seeing the reference to Fly-girl that tied the Fox into the new Crusaders, and I really really dug seeing Bob Phantom.

This book has a slight Madman vibe to it that's really enjoyable.

I totally agree. I get the same feeling I got when I first read Madman Adventures #1.
Looking forward to more Fox. Hope Archie will make it an ongoing.
Fox is too good to just be a supporting character for New Crusaders.
