It's a great chance to catch up on series you've missed for less than 99 cents per issue (since the graphic novels include 6 or more comics each). I'll be checking out Swamp Thing, Animal Man, and Batwing since I missed them the first time around.

Teen Titans was just okay...I think the early issues are better than some that come later. I really didnt care for the Culling issues, which probably come after Volume 1.

Of these novels, I recommend All Star Western, Aquaman, and Batman.

I love both Teen titans TV shows so much, and the old 80's comic. Its sad that that magic can't be replicated in the New 52.

Totally agree with you on Aquaman and Batman. Especially Aquaman - his first trade really sets hi up to be something awesome.

Is All Star Western actually that good? What's the premise other than lone gunman cowboy?

edit: i looked and Deathstroke wasn't on sale. Anyone here recommend Flash(i heard the first vol wasnt that good) or Dial H

I picked up Aquaman (because I was going to get it digitally anyway), Justice League Dark (sorta interested, need to give it a shot), Batwoman (purely because I'm a huge fan of JHW3's artwork), and Animal Man (was going to get the print-trade, but the two Rotworld issues in the Swamp Thing Green Kingdom trade kind of put me off the title - I need more persuasion).

Annoyingly I already have most the others I'm interested in thanks to previous sales (like Nightwing and Justice League from the Batman sale), or because I bought up the issues from #1 (Batman, Batman and Robin, the Green Lantern franchise)

Another big sale just a few weeks after you made me buy Morrison's Action Comics and Johns' Green Lantern, thanks DC and Comixology.

But I'm not falling for this one, you did it better when you put all the first Batvolumes at $3.99.

Deathstroke is non stop mindless violence in the first trade. I kinda liked it, but not everyone would.
Dial H is great, particularly the first issues I'd say.
I dropped the Flash after a few issues, but the art was great and I know quite a few people liked it a lot.

If you haven't tried it, I absolutely loved Frankenstein.
I, Vampire was a good series overall, but I believe the start may not have been the best. Still, worth checking if you haven't already.

In the first many issues of the New 52, All Star Western features Jonah Hex (badass gun for hire) reluctantly teaming up with nerdy Amadeus Arkham in Gotham. It makes for a fun story. There are backup features as well, some better than others. Since this is a 3.99 comic originally, the sale price is better.

I just wish this wasn't just for New 52 books...

A chance to check out some of the books I initially passed on for cheap. I got:

    All Star Western v. 1 (1-6)
    Batman Inc v. 1 (0-6)
    Batwing v. 1 (1-6)
    Captain Atom v. 1 (1-6)
    Demon nights v. 1 (1-7)
    Dial H v. 1 (0-6)
    New Guardians v. 1 (1-7)
    Red Lanterns v. 1 (1-6)
    Resurrection Man v. 1 (1-7)
    Savage Hawkman v.1 (1-8)
    Stormwatch v. 1 (1-6)
    Suicide Squad v. 1 (1-7)
    Swamp Thing v. 1 (1-7)

87 comics for $70.20, including tax. Not bad. Any other recommendations?
