I'll be getting this possibly. Directors cuts are good.

TBH the only thing that came close to taking me out of the movie was Viper. I spent the whole movie asking myself" Why the hell she's even in this?"

this is so absurd, IT IS A SILVER SAMURAI, its piloted by one of the members of the yashida family.
and in the comics, before the film came out, there is a robotic silver samurai suit

I don't recall Silver Samurai looking like something out of Bay Transformers.

This is a new character that popped up a year before the film probably to have some one make a post just like that.

No I mean the one from the movie. The comic at least look human sized.

I will rent it first and then determine if I want to buy it digitally. I quite enjoyed the film save for Viper and some of the bits with the Silver Samurai.

This is a no brainer buy for me. My buddy got the digital version and raved about it and he was borderline disappointed with the theatrical release.
Just say no to lame Ultimate replacement characters.

I thought the theatrical version was really good... until they reached the tower. Everything from that point on sucked, losing any depth the movie had amassed and transforming into a bad stereotype of a comic book movie. Doesn't sound like they addressed that at all.

I don't think theres anyway they could address it. They'd have to remove the entire climax from the movie.
