IDK, the actual issue may be better (I hope), but the preview is entirely "meh."

It's astonishing how long they left it in publication post-Whedon.

The last two issues were so "meh", that I forgot there was this issue left to look forward to. I will always be grateful to Liu and Walta for the Iceman arc, so here's hoping Astonishing goes out with a solid send-off.

Love that the writers love Dark Beast. Guy doesn't get a break.

Maybe they'll put a better cast on it now.

Astonishing X-men has been an amazing albeit erratic series. But I think the time is right for it to end. Marvel has been ending and relaunching so many books lately that it's hard to expect any series over 50 issues to be safe anymore. But Astonishing was always a special corner of the X-men universe. It had solid, self-contained stories with a strong cast of characters. From the looks of it, Amazing X-men will take its place once it launches. But I hope there's another Astonishing X-men down the line. And I look forward to seeing Marjorie Liu finishing this book on a high note.

I'll hate seeing Walta's talent on anything other than X-Books, that's for sure. Come back soon, please!

This x-book has the best Beast out of all the Beasts running around the MUverse lately.
