The OC is 150 LOL and comes out in October
DC's current comedy of errors continues.
On the plus side, I guess this means I'll be paying $2.99. Hurray.

WEEKLY COMIC BOOK REVIEW
DC can't even do a glorified fill-in month right. Mind boggling.
I let my LCS know that I wouldn't be buying the 2D covers of the extra covers I planned on picking up if my order was allocated. I told him do what he has to do and made sure he knew I wasn't blaming him for DC's mess. DC is really leaving the shop owners holding the bag on this one.
Who's buying these? I dropped all of my titles for the month except Wonder Woman, and many on these boards and at my shop have done similar things.
A Fool for the Foom
I really hope I get the 2D covers cos I practically ordered like almost 40 issues or more, way more than my standard pull list.
I'm pissed, not because I have to have the 3-D covers, but because this is the worse way to run an event like this. DC has done numerous theme cover months and theme issues in the past. They should know better than to pull bait an switch like this. How hard is it to plan ahead five second and say "maybe we should be on the ball or else we might not fulfill all the orders". I just got back into DC, and this is the kind of thing that makes me regret that decision.
It might be just me but I find this kind of exciting, I wanted all the 3D villains issues and this means I might have to hunt around for them, probably the collector inside me longing for the days of the hunt
I just want to complain about this part of the news story a little bit. I work in a comic book store and a Diamond CS rep told me that the reason there are going to be such insufficient copies is because DC elected to print them overseas instead of the US/Canada, and this is a significant reason why there were so few produced. If they just delayed their gimmick event for a couple of months they could produce way more of them, and make retailers and their customers happy. Instead they're going to cost themselves 6-7 figures of profit, they would've had almost all of the Top 50 sold books if they delivered on their promise.DC announced that due to the lengthy process it takes to print their announced lenticular 3D covers, the print runs for those issues were set far before the Final Order Cutoff dates stores follow to get their stock.
