It's as though he was changed to become a parody of a Marvelous, somewhat Uncanny character.

Cant think of anyone else, and amongst these I think Jokers Daughter is the only one who's flat out asinine, atleast the others have some redeeming qualities.

    1. The LoSH - I agree with the prevailing opinion here
    2. Firebird or whatever her name is from Batwoman, talk about lame
    3. The Martian Manhunter - maybe if they scaled him back somewhat, but he's just way too godlike and sort of superfluous
    4. The entire Shazam Family
    5. Characters who routinely travel through time

I would never feel like characters are stupid, just that I don't care for them (aside from characters like Arm-Fall-Off Boy who were designed to be "stupid", as it were).

However, I find characters like Challengers of the Unknown or Cave Carson or Sea Devils always a bit hard to take, as I find it hard to believe that ordinary people using relatively ordinary tools (Mighty Mole aside) would survive for long against super-powered monsters and aliens. Batman and other actual street-level super-heroes generally have advanced training and tools OR they just don't ever deal with those truly fantastic elements.

I had this same problem with X-Files, and I suppose with Supernatural, although I've never given it a try so that might not be the case there, but it seemed to be when it first came out.
The DC relaunch was successful and was executed in what was most likely the best way it could given restrictions we wouldn't know about. No, your idea wouldn't have worked. Now move on.

Well, "stupid" is a adjective who's kinda weird to use when talking about super heroes true enough.

I would like Legion to stick to 7 members. The current line up is just a little too much to handle.
Also, some characters I find stupid are characters like Plastic Man, Stephanie Brown and Icicle + Icicle Junior (enough with the ice villains)

Supernatural becomes self-aware and sometimes silly, and packed with nerd references. Give it another shot.
