Default Fialkov talks I, Vampire, Alpha, and John Stewart

    http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/05/...-john-stewart/

"I think John Stewart is one of the most important characters in comics. Number one, he’s the most notable African American character in all of comics who also, and this is maybe a funny corollary, is the only black character a child can easily dress up as. Maybe Luke Cage but Luke Cage isn’t as well known. Black Panther, that’s an elaborate costume. Cyborg, that’s an elaborate costume. Green Lantern, they go to their costume store where they have all the costumes from the Green Lantern movies and cartoons and they’re John Stewart."

I was actually thinking about just this subject. It's great that Cyborg is now a member of DC's "A list" but it would be difficult for kids to dress up as the character at Cons and for Halloween.

Fialkvo is a comic fan comic writer. The amount of research and love he puts into project is amazing; nothing but the upmost respect for the man.

And he's dead on about his insight on the differences of DC and Marvel.

Nice to see that he didn't just plain screw DC but said that he would like to work with them in future...smart move!
Sometimes the lines get blurred. Sometimes the only thing between you and them is the mask and cape.

Not nice to see that he's not workign with DC at all at the moment. Was hoping he was doing something for them, still.

Well at least he's willing to come back to DC.

I just hope the DC higher ups aren't dumb and hire him again.

If only Mark Waid was this professional...

This guy rocks, his writing is so awesome I'm buying an Alpha miniseries. Damn shame that Marvel is wasting him on a book so stupid, pointless and overpriced as Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates.
Desaad: Guess they found out [Mr. Mastermind] was Holmes?

ABH-1979: Really? I don't think so. I actually liked Holmes...

No, I meant hire, but my wording is off...I meant it like,

I hope the DC higher ups aren't dumb, and I hope they DO hire him again. As in I hope they won't be dumb by NOT hiring him for more work in the future. Looking back, I went with a poor choice of words to convey my sentiment. I sincerely hope Fialkov comes back to DC.

I think I kind of concur with his sentiment on the difference between Marvel and DC namely how their universes operate. Anyway, would love to see him on more titles.
I am Apocalypse! Look upon the future and tremble!
I am as far beyond Mutants as they are beyond you. I am eternal.
Evil? I am not malevolent, I simply am!
