    i trade-waited and mostly spoiler avoided AvX for the hardcover. I wish i hadn't, maybe it wouldn't have been so massively disappointing. ugh.

    Nope. Still massively disappointing.
    Spider-Man from the beginning! Last ish: ASM #15 - Chameleon hires Kraven (first appearance!) to kill Spidey.

    The end wasn't really a "solution" it's just what kind of ended up happening. And Cyke didn't know HOW the Phoenix force was going to help, he just had faith it would. But yes, he ended up being right in the sense that the force did end up benefiting mutants.

    I wish I'd stopped reading AvX, before I did. I haven't bought any new Marvel books since finishing this event--very disappointing.
