This is saddening. So many cancellations. Well, I guess they better be launching some awesome titles to make up for it.

Man, there's very little I plan to get this month. Maybe the Joker: Death Of The Family HC. If a crazy deal comes up, then maybe the 1,000,000 omnibus.

I don't know why but those Trinity War solicits make my head hurt when I read them.

I'm sad to see Dial H and Demon Knights come to an end; shame they couldnt mantain a higher level of sales to avoid cancellation.

And well, my mind is baffled that it's Stormwatch the book that got a new lease of life when its sales were pretty similar and is by far of lower quality than the other two books.

Question to DC readers. I have been collecting Geoff John's Green Lantern in trade/HC format. I see the trade called the end collects 0, 13-20. I know this is the end of his run. However, last month they solicited the Rise of the Third Army HC that included 13-16 of GL and the other GL universe titles. I don't typically collect the other titles but ordered that anyway since I figured that was how those issues of his run would be collected. Now I see this collection of those issues and more. So my question is readers, are those other titles that are part of the event critical to understand the story being told in John's GL? or do I need to read the other books to understand? Thanks!

Not having read all the titles during Rise of the Third Army I can tell you my general impression:

The four titles were doing their own thing for the most part, the third army stuff was the undercurrent that happened while each creative team told their mostly isolated story.

Probably Green Lantern Corps was the most important arc of the lot because thats where the Guardians were portrayed doing their worst.

The arc on main Green Lantern was basically an introduction/springboard for Simon Baz, the new GL currently featured in JLA.

I have no idea what happened on RL and GL:NG and I dont think I missed much.
