On the other hand, DC's editors are micromanaging the hell out of the books today and the New 52 has been a debacle (in terms of quality).

In your opinion... in mine there's Wonder Woman, Batman Inc, Animal Man. Constantine has been a win, Green Arrow has received a shot in the arm (as has Suicide Squad). That's naming just a few. So for my money the New 52 had been far, far from a debacle in terms of quality.

    Interesting, really interesting.

Of course I'm not sure anything would have been different. After all just 2-3 years later we had ex-Marvel folks like John Byrne and Frank Miller on Superman and Batman. Perez on Wonder Woman and Moore on Watchmen would also count as ex-Marvel but they were already gone.

And it's important to note Marvel would not have gotten ownership, just a license, like when Image had Heroes Reborn for a year.
    Ted Kord is Blue Beetle!
Kyle Rainer is the one true Green Lantern!
    Wally West is the Flash!
    Donna Troy is Wonder Girl!
