They are supposed to feel like the closest thing to the original Batman, Superman, Flash, etc concepts, not the opposite.

The DC relaunch was successful and was executed in what was most likely the best way it could given restrictions we wouldn't know about. No, your idea wouldn't have worked. Now move on.
I have been enjoying Earth 2 so far so I will wait to see what happens. I am not sure if the rumor is that Batman gets an Earth 2 book or is another character in the existing Earth 2. Whatever, I will keep reading the existing one until it becomes crap, if ever.

[QUOTE=Rafa-Rivas-2099;16981011]It doesn't matter, it's false advertisement. Superman it's still mostly what you'd expect, but for some reason, they deided it's ok to make an elseworld out of Earth-2.

it's a reboot. Earth 2 is arguably exactly what they should have done with more of the new 52. They restarted the whole line, why in the world would/should the new heroes be like the original concepts? This is their chance to make changes. And since Earth 2 is all about legacy, with the golden age heroes being introduced as new, young heroes, it's a twist that one of the original golden angers is now the legacy hero.
They have to introduce a new Batman quickly, so they can reveal the true "Trinity" in the crossover, Prime Earth, Earth 2 and Earth 3 with the Crime Syndicate. Just a guess!
