    Does DC/Vertigo ever have there omnis and absolutes on clearance like Marvel for dirt cheap? ($20-30ish).

    Not sure if was already announced here but Brightest Day omnibus and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith deluxe edition listed on Amazon. Brightest Day listed for $75 Aug 26th and GA $29.99 for Aug 19th though release dates on Amazon arent always correct.

    Not that I've ever seen. DC does multiple printings on their Absolutes (and Omnibuses?) on occasion, so clearing them out is unnecessary.

    My lcs had absolute Rebirth and blackest Night for 33 and 55 so stores will sometimes do it.

    It's silver age material which means every page has a big giant white border around it. There is no gutter loss because there is nothing in the gutters.

    Thanks, that makes it a easy buy since the binding is suppose to be so tight

    Do you all think any recent vertigo titles (past five to ten years) would get any absolute editions? I was trying to think of some but couldn't.

    That's a good question. Recently, it's been mostly the DC superhero stuff. But, I've long believed that Alan Moore's Tom Strong will be collected (or at least a first volume) will get collected, starting some time in 2014, if only because they wrapped up League, Promethea and Top 10.

    That said, it's not Vertigo, but it was a DC spin-off.

    Perhaps The Wake? Or Trillium.
