Grant Morrison and Rags Morales hand in their final work with Superman in "Action Comics" #18 with marvelous assistance from Brad Walker, Sholly Fisch and Chris Sprouse.

I thoroughly enjoyed this issue. It was also nice to see the creative team enshrined as characters within the DCU.

I have enjoyed the entire Action run on this relaunch. But the finale was a great. Some sort of circular storytelling here .. and the art brought it all home. It was 5 star for me .. and I think this run will hold up well over time.

People need to seriously get over Morrison. The last few issues have been one long, bad, fever-dream that don't make a lick of sense and have no flow. I've no clue whatsoever on what happened. There's been no story just a lot of vague images and events that don't really seem to connect. If I'm reading through book and have to flip back some to see if I somehow skipped a page that's not a good thing. This title has been a mess for me since either #12 or the Annual.

Why do people need to 'get over' Morrison? Why does it pain you so that some of us enjoy his work? The run is over, either way -- in what way does it benefit you (or anyone) that we 'get over' him?

Yeah, for all the talk about Morrison fans being condescending elitists, all I'm seeing these days are a bunch of people just not being able to fathom some people may actually genuinely like what he's doing, and being pricks about it.

I loved morrison's action comics. There isn't a thing that you can do to change that, and I can tell that that stresses you out very much.

    Deal with it.

I totally agree with you. The end of Morisson's Action run was utter nonsense. The first 8 issues or so weren't bad it was all downhill after that. How anyone could misstake this for good writing is beyond me. In general I think Morrison is a very over rated writer. Then again 90% of all comic book writers are talentless hacks so it doesn't take much to appear to rise above the pack.

Please tell me some of your favorite writers, so I can just write off your taste in comic books completely.
