Too bad. I hate to see him go.
But I can't believe that he chose Suicide Squad over Shadowman...
Favorite books: X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Harbinger, Archer & Armstrong, Shadowman, Green Lantern, Batman, Batman & Robin, Invincible, Uncanny Avengers, Avengers, Indestructible Hulk, and The Sixth Gun.
Sad to hear. I hope he continues to do some more incredibly amazing cover art for the various Valiant books!
DAN
better money i bet.

I read both so i don't know how to feel about this. SQ needs a better artist, so that's a pro, cause this guy is quite good. On the other hand, Shadowman is pretty good so far and i hope the art can match it after he's gone
unless Clayton crain is replacing him, this is bullshit
Neil Edwards is an awesome artist. Google his work on Herc and you'll see.
It looks like Edwards is doing some fill in on #6 (preview here) along with Zircher and Garbett. After that is anyone's guess who will be on art duties as they haven't solicited past #6.
#0 in May is by De La Torre and Suyan, which should be dope. I am hoping De La Torre stays on as a regular artist for a while. His tone is much darker than Zircher, which is a better fit for the book. As someone said, Patch does great Superhero stuff and should be great on SS.
Zircher was doing the art of his life on the book, and it will not be easy to replace that, but I don't think we will see any drop off in the writing with Jordan still on board.

VALIANT, Saga, Manhattan Projects, Locke & Key, Hawkeye, Young Avengers.
BugsySig,
While I appreciate your general comments about the art, to say that you know what it's like to work with me is... interesting, to say the least. I'm on good terms with Valiant and am still working with them. I also scripted more of issues 4 and 5 of Shadowman than the others-- so I don't know how you draw your conclusions.
Have a nice day and I hope you continue to enjoy Valiant comics.
