Director Bryan Singer has revealed a photo indicating "X-Men" trilogy veteran Daniel Cudmore will reprise his role as Colossus in "Days of Future Past," joined by Boo Boo Stewart and Fan Bingbing.

This is sounding more like Singer's X-3 than a follow up to First Class.

Yeah...there are alooooot of characters popping up. Hopefully they're not doing the classic sequel mistake...you know how they pack the movie full of characters and the story takes a toll because of it. No character has an actual moment and the movie becomes a flop. But we will have to wait and see what happens.

I liked the first two X-Men films, but I thought First Class was better than either of them. I really hope this expanding cast doesn't mean we're not going to get a lot of young Xavier, Magneto, and crew. Those are the characters I really want to see more of.

Rumors are that Fan Bingbing is supposed to be playing Blink, which would kind of disappoint me. Not that their aren't people of Asian descent from the Bahamas, but the population's predominantly black and even then she grew up in Miami, FL.
I'd actually take issue with her being cast as Psylocke as well since Asians of different nationalities shouldn't be considered easily interchangeable, and yes, of course Betsy is British besides.Last edited by BrotherUnitNo_4; 03-15-2013 at 03:09 PM.

I remember thinking that his whole role in X3 was so small that they might as well have just left him out of the movie. I also don't get why he was not Russian in the movies. Part of what makes x-men interesting is that being a mutant goes beyond nations and cultures.

Ah, that I did not know. Of course 'Psylocke' did technically appear in Last Stand but like 'Emma' in Origins she was treated so pathetically they might as well pretend she wasn't. Personally I'd like Betsy to be saved for a Captain Britain film and be played by an British-Asian actress, but since 'Colossus' isn't Russian in Last Stand I guess anything could happen. Am I the only one who wants to photoshop the various "DEAD", "APPREHENDED" etc. from the classic cover onto those headshots?
As for Boo Boo Stewart, I'm thinking he could be Sunfire.
