You know how Ultron is Invading and the way it is being portayed in the Books of AoU is scary and well done.

I reminds me of the alien Inavasion movies of the last few years, the sudden and deadly power the comes in with no warning or wrath of destruction is scary.

This is actually one of the books I'm most excited for across all publishers. Butch Guice's work on Winter Soldier was amazing, and Al Ewing is one of the most talented writers that showed up in the last few years. Can't wait to get my hands on this baby!

Was this Preview without dialogue boxes, or is the book actually silent? I thought Natasha said she survived,to MK, because both of them were caught on secret missions. I don't see any secret mission she was on.

I actually ordered this one, because of Guice's art. And am hoping MK appears in a panel or two, but if not, hopefully I will like it anyway.
Wake me up when it's over...

Well, it wouldn't be much of a secret mission if you tell just by looking at her that she was on a secret mission.

Is that really Butch Guice's art? Because it doesn't look at all like any of his recent stuff, either the drawing or the layouts/storytelling. The art in that preview pales in comparison to the stuff he's been doing the last few years on Winter Soldier and Captain America.

It looked more like she was holidaying in her favorite city. I was trying to tie in her last assignment in Avengers Assembled to this, by extrapolating the flight path of the Helicarrier Illiad back to its home base, but all I got was a base in Cuba, or the Bahamas. That stomach wound of Clints must have healed fast for AU, (and he ended up in NY), or Avengers Assembled happens before Secret Avengers.

I think there will be some text boxes there, but it is a testament to the great storytelling at work in these pages that you can clearly see what's going on and the horror on Natasha's face without the need for any caption.

Great artwork. Guice draws a fine Natasha.
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.

I really enjoy Guice's artwork now. It was such a big change from Epting's work on Cap, that it took a couple issue for me to really enjoy Guice's pencils. Now, I think it is fantastic. The one thing that always makes me laugh though is that every time he draws Natasha, it looks like she is wearing a Bump-It with the mega poof she always has in her hair.
But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream.

I agree. Its really terrifying to think, especially in the MU, that in the blink of an eye fire and fury can come raining from the heavens and we've already lost the war before we aware of it.

It's interesting Natasha had no communicator go off to say the Avengers were assembling. She didn't call someone. Nobody called her. It's like the whole planet was shut off, and there was nobody but who was alive in San Fran. It was Paris all over the planet, when the Thored out Gargoyle turned everyone to stone.
