Wow! Batman vs. Frankenstein drawn by Pat Gleason?!?! This is something I never knew I wanted to see but now I cannot wait for it!

Bruce needs to get back to the Mansion, dirty up some dishes for Alfred to preoccupy himself with.

This is actually something I did want to see (well, more likely a team-up), but I can't believe we're actually getting it! So excited for this.

(I do love Gleason... but if this was Batman vs. Frankenstein drawn by Doug Mahnke; the internet would 'splode.)

Well as since it's pretty obvious that under temporary writer Ray Fawkes direction, Batgirl had practically no reaction to Damian's death at all in #18, hopefully regular writer, despite editor Cunningham's best efforts, Gail Simone can salvage a delayed reaction upon her part to the kid's passing in the upcoming #19.
    Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, Batwoman, BOP, Earth 2, He-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Katana, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

I don't see how you can justify saying that when we are only presented with two pages from the book. To the same extent, the Batman preview shows Batman in fairly generic action
and Batman & Red Robin has Batman fighting Frankenstein. Neither of them show Batman reacting to the death of Robin, yet it would be remiss of me to say that it means Batman will have no reaction. Given that each book will contain around ten times more pages than we see, that gives plenty of room to explore Batgirl and Batman's reactions to Damien's death. I trust Fawkes wholeheartedly to bring some emotion to proceedings.

Wait, Batgirl gets two Requiem issues? I don't get how that works at all.

Seriously. Especially if Nightwing only gets one? Y'know the guy who had Damian as his sidekick, and whose book Damian actually appeared in and had significant interaction with the kid?

Isn't she busy with other plot-lines at the moment anyways?

"Requiem" happened during the issue where she wasn't narrating so we really haven't gotten any reaction from her at all. You can bet that when she does talk to Dick it will be more emotional.

DC's solicitations were a little wrong and they never corrected them. Fawkes did issues #17-18 (despite DC's website stating that #18 is Fawkes first issue), and regular writer Gail Simone is back on the title with issue #19. And Fawkes very much failed to show ANY emotion on Barbara's part in issue #18 upon hearing of Damian Wayne's death. Even with having James Jr. narrating nonstop, it's up to the writer to give notes to the artist as to how the characters are supposed to be reacting. I've seen people get more upset upon hearing someone's favorite dog died, IMO.

Very excited for the red robin issue. I feel like compared to babs, dick, and Todd, we haven't seen Bruce and Tim interact at all in the new 52

Yeah, this could be looked at as a final sendoff of sorts between Bruce and Tim too. As Harper inevitably takes over his and Damian's role as sidekick. It might be a long while again before the two have any meaningful interaction.

Oh, my apologies. That's my fault for replying before having had any coffee, or having read the latest Batgirl.
