At last. Nick Fury makes his appearance. I think the Savage Land would be one hiding place Fury would have a certainty of being secure from Ultron. The problem is that Ultron gets into and detects all tech, so Fury had to devise an Ultron proof haven where Tech can be cloaked from Ultron with certainty.

Also, Iron Man again appears in that Tron suit of his, so we don't know what his contingency was concerning Ultron and Iron Man. If anybody should be scared shitless about Ultron it is Tony Stark, because Ultron practically raped him in MA #1.

And wasn't that an Ultimate Nullifier on the screen that someone was pointing too?

I like that Bendis and Hinch are showing excerpts of the attack day gradually in a drip feed, because it enhances the severity of the aftermath knowing nobody could do anything about this.

There's 2 Hawkeyes on the cover (see the boots on the shirtless archer). This is alternate reality/timeline crap.

And I have zero faith in Marvel's editorial staff to keep continuity correct. Cap's costume, Spidey being pOCKssessed, FF off-planet, Hulk's costume, etc, etc.

And speaking of continuity screw-ups, don't even get me started on Avenger's Assemble. Marvel claims it's also in continuity, yet the Hulk is somehow the dumb "Hulk smash" Hulk from the 70's again.

Time to hire an editor that can keep track of your shared universe, Marvel, and be sure the creators get things right.

I'm on the verge of dropping Marvel (and so, comics all together), after being a fan for 40 years.
I already dumped DC after the ridiculous "Flashpoint" and "New 52", and now Marvel is quickly becoming the same swirling shit storm of nonsense.

I can only laugh at very loudly or feel utterly sorry for people who take continuity this seriously. Unless you are buying, reading, and studying every single book a company puts on the shelves - who gives a shit? Good stories are good stories. Find a good story, or run, or book, and buy it. Don't like it? Don't buy it. What's so impossible about enjoying a book on individual merit? I could care less what the other books are up to - it allows the creators to breathe a bit. If you can't find a book in this new era of Marvel where there's a pretty decent variety of high quality books - then maybe you should just give it up.

For my Marvel tastes: Aaron is wrecking shit on Thor and Hickman is seemingly crafting one of the most epic Marvel run of all time on Avengers/NA. Guess what? Aaron's and Hickman's books dont sync up what so ever continuity wise. Im not a huge Bendis fan but im digging the dire straights tone that is being established in this Ultron mini so far - I like it when the bad guys win. As for your nitpicks - not only was this written a long time ago - it was probably drawn a long time ago too. We all know how long it takes Hitch to draw projects. The new MarvelNow Cap/Hulk costume probably weren't even designed yet. Over at the other guy's, have fun trying to match up Azzarello's (kickass/amazing/damn good) Wonder Woman with the rest of the DCU. Again, does it REALLY matter?!

Continuity freaks - ill never understand yall. Good comics are good comics.

Do it. Go. Find something in life that you can enjoy that doesn't cause you to come online and rage about such silly little things. Sounds like you'd be happier.

Oh, and 'shirtless archer' is likely Ka-Zar, not another Hawkeye. You know, with the Savage Land being mentioned and stuff. But I can understand, 40 years of comic reading is a lot and things could be missed or mistaken. Continuity's tricky like that ...

Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me are people that think Final Crisis is good.

And yet another laughable image of Black Widow posing in the background with her GUN. What is she aiming to shoot at and hurt with that thing exactly?
Kazar with his spear is even more laughable. This series is BAD.

Woah ! Why so many hate ? I agree with Dark Tigris : "Find something in life that you can enjoy that doesn't cause you to come online and rage about such silly little things."

A Bendis/Hinch series doesn't pretend to be as "serious" nor as inventive as some independent titles - or creator owned. The two guys are just telling a story for the fun, playing with Marvel characters and comic book rules. And, of course, they don't really care about continuity of the universe. BUT it doesn't matter : readers are just waiting fun, and they'll have it.

I like to read more elaborated stories, but sometimes I like also such series : it's just for fun, for the rhythm, for the entertainment. And, from that point of view, it's not crap : it is a Bendis/Hitch story, and nothing more. And I'll read it for what it is.
    In May : Avengers/Dark/New/Guardians/Nova/AU/Thor/Thanos/Wolverine/X-Men/Star wars/Legacy/Darth Vader/Dark Times/King Conan/Peter Cannon/Lone Ranger/Battlestar/X-O Manowar/Deathmatch/Dredd Year One

Yah, I was a little over-dramatic with my last comment, I'll give you that (no more typing close to bed time, old man!), but, still the amount of continuity mistakes is annoying. It just seams to get worse year after year. And I'm pretty sure Marvel wants people to read many, if not all of the comics they publish, in what they have themselves decided to make a shared universe. So constantly screwing up that continuity is unprofessional and just throws of the enjoyment of reading multiple titles. So, yes, Destro777, I DO read every Marvel book, so I "give a shit", thank you. And Darth Tigris, you came on here to do nothing but "rage about a silly little thing" yourself: my comment. So you yourself did exactly what you bitched about. And I guess we''ll find out together in a few weeks why Ka-zar is wearing Hawkeye's purple boots and purple pants and has a quiver on his back.

Well, no, Jean-Michel, to me, it does matter. You don't speak for everyone on the planet that reads comics, sorry. It's just my opinion and what I enjoy. I enjoy the shared universe, in continuity, at least to some extent. I'm not as picky about it as I may come off here, but it's happening a lot lately, and is starting to really become off-putting (and I need to get off pudding... thank you Jennifer Lawrence... lol). And I'm sure I'm not alone, I hear the same complaints from other customers at the store I frequent. Captain America's costume changes is a running joke at the shop, it's gotten so ridiculous.

    Only if they're actually mistakes.

Like Age of Apocalypse or Age of X before it, maybe this is simply another alternate age, and then the continuity is whatever Bendis decides it is.
