I'm definitely getting Superboy. Im not sure about GL:NG after reading the interview I'm willing to give it a shot
i have a beautiful filthy mind
Excited for this.
I'm sure that Jordan will be able to pull great action and characterization and it's not like he would have to do an outstanding effort to be better than what came before.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
New Guardians just got respectable in the last few issues. Jordan doesn't exactly have big shoes to fill.
Glad he's respectful of Geoff's run, and I look forward to see what he can do with a great concept that I unfortunately felt Tony Bedard didn't explore enough.
I am curious to know which New Guardian will remain on the team since he said one will still be there. Maybe Saint Walker?
I am Apocalypse! Look upon the future and tremble!
I am as far beyond Mutants as they are beyond you. I am eternal.
Evil? I am not malevolent, I simply am!
I'm a little disappointed they're dropping the team from NG.
I might drop the book, cause being 100% about Kyle doesn't interest me.
He's a good guess as a "Geoff Johns" era character to keep in a prominent position. But part of me hopes it's Carol - she works so well with Kyle, and it would be nice to see her and Hal "together" but not joined at the hip.
Also, really glad to hear that Bunker is going to be in "Superboy".
I'm afraid I never got around to picking up Jordan's Team 7, though what he said about it made me more willing to give it a shot.
As someone who doesn't like a lot of the darker nature of the New 52, especially what I perceive as a kind of moral/ethical ends-justifies-the-means attitude in many of the ostensibly heroic characters (so many of them seem to kill these days, etc.), can anyone tell me what Jordan's writing is like regarding such matters? This might be a good jumping-on point for both books.
